Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway 0-4-0ST |
A 7mm scale (O Gauge) model of Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway 0-4-0ST, one of the B7 class of 57 locomotives first introduced in 1891 and designed by John Aspinall. The model was built in 1981 from a whitemetal kit, formerly marketed by Sevenscal but now available from Springside Models. It is fully sprung and the original open-frame motor was replaced by a Portescap RG4 motor/gearbox with an additional final drive gear meshed with the original, which becomes an idler.
