Harrington Coke Ovens Private Owner Wagon No 31 |
A 7mm scale (O gauge) model of a Harrington Coke Ovens
private owner wagon that was entirely scratch built (including
the wheels, buffing gear and couplings) from brass and plastic card. The
load of coke is represented by dried tea leaves. The prototype was built
in 1911 by Charles Roberts & Co Ltd. at Horbury Junction, Wakefield for
Harrington Coke Ovens Limited (1911-1928).
